Get this on your calendar NOW!… Back by Popular Demand is “HANGING OF THE GREENS”!  Help your church get all spruced up for the holidays!  We will meet after church for a Brunch Potluck, then begin HANGING OF THE GREENS! It’s always a great time, and we hope you will stay for a fun afternoon of decorating our church!

We will sing Christmas Carols, eat Christmas Cookies and get about the business of preparation for the most exciting time in the life of the church as we prepare a Birthday Party for Jesus!!

Brunch Potluck sign up sheets will be upstairs outside the multipurpose room soon!  So be looking!

Coffee with the Pastor

We are so blessed to have guests visiting with us each week. I want to invite you to join me for Coffee with the Pastor. We will gather on Sunday, October 22 at 11:30 am in the Library. We’d love to be your church family!

Coffee with the Pastor is designed to help you discover the values and beliefs of this church and the United Methodist denomination in a casual setting. I believe in this church and its’ ministry. When we find the right church family and make a commitment, we grow in our closeness to God, we learn to love our neighbor, and to walk as a child of God. I pray that you find that place of connection that will draw you closer to God.

Our church garage sale will be held on Saturday, September 16, from 9am to 1pm.

Have you wanted to join a Bible Study but didn’t know where to find one? Do you have an incoming Third Grader in need of a Bible? Have a Youth interested in being Confirmed? or Maybe you just enjoy the fellowship and good food of an All Church Event? Then we’ve got just the ticket!! Join us for Rally Day, Sunday September 17, to find out what’s happening this fall at FUMC and enjoy some good food.

Families are asked to bring either a side Dish/Salad or a Dessert. Main Dish and Beverages will be provided.

Please sign up in the Multi-Purpose Room to let us know how many are coming so we have enough food for all, then plan to stay after church on Sunday, September 17, for lots of fellowship, food, and fun!

Rev. Maureen is so excited to get to know her new congregation!  She has asked if it would be possible to schedule a number of small group meetings in homes or at church in order to get to know us, listen to our hopes and dreams, anxieties and fears as together, we transition into her new ministry.  There are sign-up sheets in the multi-purpose room for those wishing to attend a group meeting.  We hope everyone will take this opportunity to get acquainted with our new Pastor.
