We are also in need of three things!
1.) We are asking for donations for the meal and talent show. There will be baskets available to collect your donations.
2.) It will be a delicious meal and great entertainment. The Youth encourage you to bring your friends to fill the seats.
3.) Of course talent is also needed. We are looking for all types of talents: serious, funny, and adorable! So please sign up soon in the Multipurpose Room or by calling our Church Office.
Please call Rev. Mary with any questions.
Ash Wednesday – to Go!
Rev. Mary was downtown Mount Clemens on Ash Wednesday, sharing ashes with people walking by or driving through town.
First Presbyterian, Zion, Grace, American Lutheran, and FUMC all worked together, to be Christ’s presence in our community.
It is beautiful to see our local clergy working together!
FUMC in Ice Carving Show
Our Cross and Flame Ice Carving looked absolutely beautiful! It was on display at the 11th Annual Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show February 5 -7, 2016. They did a beautiful job!
It was located on the side of Max and Ollie’s. (Love that there is a red pole behind the flame!)
Rev. Mary prayed over it, for all that walk by to remember that there is hope and they are not alone.
FUMC Hosts Warming Center
FUMC will house the Warming Center for a total of 11 nights this year.
Sandy P. And Dan M. Are doing amazing work guiding our people to care for our nightly guests.
The hospitality is generous and the number of people volunteering is unbelievable.
Thank you Sandy and Dan for modeling to all of us how to be the hands and feet of God.
